Shabana’s winning run halted in home turf

Shabana Fc has failed to secure its fourth consecutive win in the National super league after playing Migori FC a barren draw at Gusii stadium.

Shabana which has recorded wins from its first three matches lost many chances even if they had greater ball possession.

Both teams were awarded penalties which they failed to convert.

Addressing the media after the match, Shabana FC head coach Gilbert selebwa said they never expected to draw with Migori youths who come strongly unlike the expectations of many.

Migori FC coach Salim Babu said the one point was like a win to them as they were playing against a big club.

Shabana FC will be visiting Kibera Black Stars in Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo grounds for their next match while Migori Youth will host Eldoret Youth at Awendo Green stadium.
