Taita Taveta County gives Ksh. 40 million bursaries to over 7500 students

Over 7500 students from both college and secondary schools in Taita Taveta County have received Ksh 40 million in fees bursaries from the County government.

“My administration has increased the annual bursary allocation from Ksh 24 million to Ksh 85 million,” says the County Governor Granton Samboja.

He says the latest bursary disbursement brings to Ksh 60 million the amount of money paid out to beneficiaries in the region in the 2018-2019 financial year.

He was speaking when  he issued the education bursary cheques at Wundanyi town hall said his .
