A kisii based pastor has applauded a ruling by a Nyeri court affirming the right of married women in inheritance of their father’s land.

Speaking to the press, Pastor Peter Morwabe of Embassy Ministries Church stated it’s the right of each and every person to own land and property.

The Pastor however raised concerns on the timeliness given saying the process should happen gradually and not instant.

“It will not be business as usual when ladies have that re-way to own property. Think of it that now your wife has properties and you are struggling to invest on your family when she is engaged to other personal issues, how will you as a man feel? This will belittle and disgruntle marriages,” he said.

He said that parents should be in a learning attitude to make a decision on whom to inherit what after their demise and should do a will concerning that.
